Round Thermoplastic Rubber Feet with Steel Support Bushing

Budwig Round TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) Feet with Steel Support Bushing also referred to as Recessed Bumpers, Plastic Bumpers or Rubber Bumpers.

All Budwig Round Thermoplastic Rubber Feet are in fact Recessed Bumpers (recessed center for screw or other type fastener primarily used to prevent metal-to-metal or surface-to-surface contact). Molded from "Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) or sometimes referred to as Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) are a physical mix of polymers (usually a plastic and a rubber). Budwig Thermoplastic Bumpers have the advantages of typical rubbery materials and plastic materials, hence the reference to Rubber Bumpers / Plastic Bumpers which provide; quality traction, exceptional shock absorbing features and unlike natural rubber they have superior non-marking qualities and excellent resistance to stress cracking. A Trivalent Chromate plated steel Support Bushing absorbs the total fastener load allowing the rubber feet to be mounted using a variety of screws or rivets without causing distortion to the foot itself. Budwig Round Polyethylene (P.E.) Feet also referred to as Recessed Bumpers, Plastic Bumpers and Rubber Bumpers.

All Budwig Round Polyethylene (P.E.) Feet are in fact Recessed Bumpers (recessed center for screw or other type fastener primarily used to prevent metal-to-metal or surface-to-surface contact). Molded from Polyethylene; man-made (synthetic) polymers commonly known as PLASTICS, hence the reference to Plastic Bumpers and sometimes mistakenly referred to as Rubber Bumpers (Polyethylene does not consist of any man-made or natural rubber). Polyethylene feet are recommended where resistance to sliding, shock absorbing or other rubber like qualities are not a requirement. Excellent resistance to aging and most chemicals. Available in any color on special order.
